XL25 Series non-intelligent ministepper drives accept industry standard step/direction, step-up/step-down and 0-10V analog command signals. They also feature a built-in dual speed step-pulse generator which, with the addition of a few external components, permits stand-alone operation with local controls. XL25i Series intelligent stepper motor controllers incorporate a powerful indexer based on Parker's proven EASI control language. In addition to all standard motion control functions, the indexer can perform accurate registration moves for applications such as packaging and labelling. The use of pre-defined move profiles and labelled program blocks allows for more efficient programming and improves the response of the indexer by reducing execution time. Optimum noise immunity is assured by the use of PLC-compatible 24V input and output levels.

All XL/XLi ministepper drives feature programmable motor current down to 50% of the maximum value, automatic current reduction at standby, a choice of four resolutions between 400 and 4000 steps/rev and full protection against short circuits, overvoltage and excessive temperature rise.
