SHIELD WRAP Knitted Wire Mesh Tape

Parker Chomerics SHIELD WRAP™ Knitted Wire Mesh Tape is a highly flexible and conformable EMI shielding mesh meant to be wrapped around cables and harnesses. It consists of a two-ply flattened cylinder ranging in standard width from 0.75 inches to 2.00 inches. The unique cylindrical design means that the individual loops of metal wire will enlarge into each other when exposed to elevated temperatures, thereby not compromising the shielding effectiveness. Due to its excellent flexibility, SHIELD WRAP™ is able to conform to irregular or complex surfaces. While not intended to replace braided grounding straps, it has the potential to be used for grounding applications. When applying the knit mesh, 50% material overlap is recommended.
